March 2014 Trip

dear friends,

It is a time for our March trip! This is sure going to be a bold adventure in every way:) I will be hosting the largest team on foreign soil we have ever taken!! #pleasebepraying 21 Japanese will be joining me....

So for the theme or what is on my heart is that this trip is a call to action to join God in His intent to form a new kind of kingdom that would become a blessing to this nation...not based on politics, power, or money, but built on God's truth, love and forgiveness and COMPASSION. We will be working with students the first half of the trip, meeting with our Dream Release students spending time with them and then going into schools sharing our testimonies and being with the kids. A concert at the park is planned and the Japanese team will preach do skits and be a part of the worship team. Just seems like a win all around!

The 2nd half of our trip (after the Japanese leave and return to Japan) we will head with our team, Brenda, Pong and Evan and Garry, to the Lucena area, here we will visit our new centers and spend time with our Hope Centers. I cant wait to visit with them as they have been taking teams into the typhoon destroyed areas, and been on some of their own mission trips to India and Cambodia...so much to talk about and hear their ideas, this sounds so wonderful to get to share with them. Please pray as the country is still in the siege of storms, continue to have many displaced families, and lives that are disrupted from the normal. We will be able to continue to take in supplies and be a part of restoration. I cant tell you how much this has become something so dear in our hearts, just being able to help in the simplest of ways such as bringing in rice or bedding, building materials ...this is a God thing for sure.

On the home front I am so grateful that you will be praying for Russ and our kids as they always send me off with prayer and love and support and all that you need to leave the country knowing you can do this, but after the last trip and the storm we were in, their is some talking still going on....hmmmmmm

Just so very grateful to be in a community of friends who love the way you do!!! You are amazing, it is my heart that as love one another through our works we will bring an increase of grace and growth in divine love...
